A threat actor on a dark web forum has announced WebShell access to the web systems of four universities in Egypt. According to the threat actor, each WebShell grants NT Authority or www-data access.
They claim that with each WebShell, credentials for the SQL server or an additional shell that connects to the university’s database will be provided.
The threat actor wants buyers to contact with him in order to get more information such as providing proof, discussing the price, and getting more detailed information on the universities. A Telegram ID is shared so buyers can reach out to the threat actor and discuss the details.
The owner of the post is also welcome to an escrow to monitor and oversee the transaction, ensuring security for both parties.
