A threat actor has claimed to have breached the database of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Warren Buffett. The actor warns that if Berkshire Hathaway does not respond to their demands within a specified timeframe, alternative actions will be taken.
Compromised Data Includes:
- Information on over 100,000 agents, including details like ID, type, contact information, parent organization, address, country, state, city, and additional property information.
- Details of 12,000 real estate team members, including timestamps, team IDs, contact details, parent organization, languages, team status, lead notification preferences, address, and geolocation data.
- Records of 8,000 real estate teams/organizations, including timestamps, organization IDs, type, name, contact details, parent organization, team status, full-time and part-time counts, member information, and address data.
Berkshire Hathaway reported a revenue of $368 billion for the twelve months ending March 31, 2024.
