Rhysida Ransomware Group Allegedly Breached Sensitive Data of City of Columbus, Ohio

In a recent cyber incident, the Rhysida ransomware group has allegedly leaked over 6.5 terabytes of sensitive data belonging to the City of Columbus, Ohio. According to the group’s claims, the exfiltrated files include a comprehensive array of databases, internal logins, passwords of employees, a full dump of servers containing emergency services applications, and access to city surveillance cameras.

Rhysida announced an auction for this exclusive data, setting a price of 30 Bitcoin (BTC) and asserting that the sale would be made to a single buyer only. The group provided several screenshots to substantiate their claims, showcasing the extent of the compromised information.
