Europol, the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation, which plays a crucial role in coordinating and enhancing cooperation among police forces in EU member states to combat organized crime and terrorism, has recently been targeted by a cyberattack. The SN_BLACKMETA group has claimed responsibility for a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on Europol’s website, asserting that they have significantly disrupted the agency’s online services.

The attackers boasted about their actions, stating, “We attacked all the systems + we burned the server and the network.” This claim was supported by the release of several screenshots and check reports, which were shared on various platforms to demonstrate the impact of their attack. The reports provided by SN_BLACKMETA can be found at the following links:

These reports detail the alleged disruptions caused by the attack, including significant downtime and server instability. While Europol has not yet confirmed the full extent of the attack’s impact, the incident underscores the growing threat of cyberattacks on critical institutions.
