A recent post on a Telegram channel has alleged a data breach of the Siam Cement Group (SCG), a leading ASEAN conglomerate known for its sustainable business practices. The post, attributed to the threat actor group SILKFIN AGENCY, claims responsibility for the breach, stating that the database was compromised on August 20, 2024.
According to the message, the stolen data includes over 16,000 B2B lines and spans a decade’s worth of records from 2014 to 2024. The compromised information reportedly contains sensitive details such as company IDs, administrative information, contact details, installation locations, building specifications, and various approval signatures.
