In a recent post on a dark web forum, a threat actor claimed responsibility for leaking a large dataset of user information from Dingding Talk, a popular chat platform owned by the Alibaba Group. The leak reportedly took place in July 2024.
According to the post, the dataset comprises 720,000 lines of information, with more than 300,000 entries containing full names. The leaked data is said to include mobile numbers, full names, mobile carriers, provinces, and location details.
Dingding Talk, widely used across China for workplace communication, is known for its vast user base. The leaked information is now being offered for sale by the threat actor, who provided a Telegram contact for interested buyers.
