In a post published on a dark web forum, a threat actor known as ZeroSevenGroup made claims about a significant cyberattack on Israeli targets. The group asserts that it successfully infiltrated seven organizations in Israel, leveraging a custom-built virus. The hackers describe their actions as both a statement against Israeli policies and an opportunity for financial gain.

According to the post, the breach has revealed sensitive information related to Israel’s military strategies, diplomatic relations, and defense systems, including the Iron Dome and David’s Sling Weapons System.

The group claims to have uncovered “dirty plans” of Israeli influence across the globe, allegedly involving several countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. ZeroSevenGroup also accuses Israel of orchestrating operations that affect not only Arab and Muslim nations but Christians and other groups as well.

Although the threat actors assert they are not motivated by political or religious ideologies, they express shock at the atrocities they claim to have found in the breached data. The group cites the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, particularly the treatment of Gaza, as a driving force behind their decision to go public with the information.

The post lists a variety of allegedly stolen documents, including secret meetings with international governments and organizations, defense strategies, and highly sensitive details about Israel’s military infrastructure. The group also claims to have obtained confidential information about the Middle East Air Defense Alliance (MEAD), a coalition of regional countries working together to protect Israel.

ZeroSevenGroup is offering to sell the stolen data to a select group of seven potential buyers, including Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and Russia. The asking price for each buyer is 200,000 Monero (XMR), a cryptocurrency known for its emphasis on privacy. The group also offers a third-party mediator option for a higher fee of $400 million in XMR.

The hackers attribute their actions to three reasons: retaliation for Israeli intelligence blocking previous hacking attempts, Israel’s alleged involvement in the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov, and their outrage over the bloodshed in Gaza.
