In a recent post on a dark web forum, a threat actor has claimed to possess and offer for sale a database allegedly containing sensitive information of over 160,000 Brazilian citizens.

The data reportedly stems from SAIC (Sistema de Atendimento Integral ao Cidadão), a Brazilian system designed to support healthcare and social services across the country.

The purported breach involves records spanning from 2021 to 2024 and allegedly grants full access to an SQL database, potentially exposing a significant range of personal and healthcare information.

According to the post, the compromised data includes individual identifiers such as ID numbers, UUIDs, and CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) numbers. Additionally, records include health-specific data like Health Unit Numbers (CNES), health unit names, CNS numbers, professional affiliations, team names, and appointment details, including recent and primary appointments, as well as information about health units and personnel lists.
