In a significant claim circulating dark web forum, a threat actor alleges to have obtained a vast amount of data from QuoteWizard.com and LendingTree, two prominent companies in the insurance and financial services sectors. The data, which purportedly spans 2TB when compressed, is said to include highly sensitive personal information on 190 million individuals and 3 billion tracking pixel data records.

According to the seller, the data set includes:

  • Full customer details: Names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, and other personal information.
  • Partial credit card details: With only the middle five digits masked.
  • Auto history and driving records: Information used for generating insurance quotes.
  • Personal background information: Details necessary for insurance evaluations.
  • Tracking pixel data: Including PII and IP addresses for online tracking.

The seller claims this data encompasses information from multiple insurance carriers, including Allstate, State Farm, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, and others. The data is allegedly organized into numerous detailed tables, covering everything from customer interactions and insurance quotes to financial transactions and communication logs. In total, the seller is offering this data for $2 million USD.
