According to a post published by USDoD on a dark web forum, two major political parties in Mexico, PRI, and PAN, within the state of Nuevo Leon, were targeted. The post is also claiming that they were corrupt.
According to the claim, these parties engaged in illegal and violent activities to secure election victories. They allegedly manipulated the judiciary, prosecutor’s office, and judicial police to coerce votes, resorting to physical violence and property destruction against opponents. The threat actor likens their actions to those of a mafia.
The alleged data leak purportedly includes sensitive personal information of over 78,711 citizens of Nuevo Leon affiliated with PRI and PAN. This data encompasses full names, voter IDs, addresses, CURPs (Unique Population Registry Codes), dates of birth, and affiliation dates.
There is no price information in the post.
