A threat actor claiming to sell unauthorized access to a third-party customer of Taiwan’s leading telecom company, Chunghwa Telecom. The offer, if genuine, could expose more than 900GB of data from the company’s client.

In the post, the threat actor boasted that the access would grant root-level permissions, enabling full control over the system. The operating system is identified as Linux, and the access is offered through Secure Shell (SSH).

The alleged access comes with a price tag of $2,000, though the seller mentioned that the price is negotiable. While the details about the specific nature of the data remain vague, the size of the dataset and the involvement of a major telecom player highlight the seriousness of the situation.

The threat actor also included a sample from the post.
