In August 2024, Batcom, a prominent telecom provider based in Argentina allegedly experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive information from both clients and internal users. According to the post, the breach affected the personal data of 28,000 clients and compromised the access credentials of 300 users.
According to the breach announcement, the exposed data includes .sql files containing client information such as account numbers, registration dates, and personal identifiers. Additionally, user access credentials were leaked.
